Swig Is Bringing Its Viral Dirty Sodas to the Chicago Area—Here's Where It's Opening

If you've been seeing Swig all over TikTok and Instagram, you'll soon be able to try it without leaving Chicagoland!

The popular Utah-based drink chain, best known for its customizable "dirty sodas," is officially expanding into the Chicago market. As part of a new franchise agreement, Swig plans to open 13 locations throughout the Chicagoland area over the next several years.

The first location is expected to open in August 2026 in Crest Hill at 1701 N. Larkin Ave., Unit 800D. Additional locations have already been announced for Naperville, Bolingbrook, and Joliet, with more Chicagoland communities expected to be revealed as the expansion continues.

For those unfamiliar with the brand, Swig has become a social media sensation thanks to its signature dirty sodas—soft drinks mixed with flavored syrups, cream, fruit purees, and other fun add-ins. The menu also features refreshing lemonades, Reviver energy drinks, refreshers, cookies, and sweet treats, making it a popular destination for anyone looking to customize their drink.

The chain has grown rapidly in recent years, fueled by its loyal fan base and viral popularity online. Its arrival in the Chicago suburbs gives local fans the chance to experience the trend without traveling out of state.

While only four Chicagoland communities have been announced so far, Swig's 13-store development agreement means more locations are on the way. As new cities and opening dates are confirmed, we'll continue to share updates.
