3. Lake Ellyn Park: (Glen Ellyn): Lake Ellyn is well known toe Glen Ellyn residents, but it might not be on the radar to those who don't know the area! It's a large park with a walking path that surrounds the water. In the warmer months, you can take a paddle board out and enjoy a picnic, and in winter there's ice skating complete with a warming house serving up hot chocolate.
4. The Little Popcorn Store (Wheaton): This tiny, family-owned popcorn shop is located in a an alley and is over 100 years old! They've been serving delicious, homemade popcorn and candy to the community for a century and it's the perfect Friday night stop!
5. Kane County Flea Market (St. Charles): Located at the Kane County fair grounds, there are over 400 vendors selling everything from sports collectibles and vintage clothes, to garden trinkets and refurbished furniture. It runs the first full weekend of every month, from March to December!
